Amy’s lineage is in vinyasa flow – a blend of breath and body, matched together in a thoughtful and engaging way. Everyone can benefit from a regular yoga practice and Amy is dedicated to sharing yoga with everyone who is interested.

A certified ChildLight Yoga instructor, Amy brings yoga to children in inventive ways that include stories, songs, guided meditation, and creative “yoga play”.

Through her “Yoga 101″ workshop series, Amy introduces adult beginners to the practice, building a yoga practice from the ground up. With focus on alignment, breathwork, fundamentals of yoga, and open discussion, Amy’s Yoga 101 will give anyone the confidence they need to arrive on their mat. That is, after all, the hardest part of a yoga practice – making the time to do it!

Amy works with athletes at various levels, from group sessions with high school sports teams to semi-private classes with adult triathletes. Adding a yoga practice to your athletic training is a way to maintain balance in the body and the mind. With Amy, you will use yoga to increase your ability to focus, work with visualization and meditation in order to set and achieve goals, and learn counterposes and modifications based on your specific sport.
