I discovered yoga as an undergrad in 2004, finding that solace on the mat can lead to peace in the mind, even when the mind is cluttered with multivariate calculus. Ever since, yoga has been my method for finding the balance between effort and ease, logic and love. I have spent the past ten years cultivating a strong personal practice and am a certified yoga teacher.


After spending years teaching dance, I am so happy to share my love of movement in a different way, bringing my enthusiastic approach to yoga to my beloved yoga community in the Portland, Maine area by offering a powerful vinyasa practice that encourages inner strength and loving devotion, focused on quieting the mind and challenging the body. My most fervent hope is to inspire my students to use yoga to discover and travel their own paths to fulfillment.
